The minister of state for Mines and Steel Development, Dr Uchechukwu Ogah, has advised the business community in the South East including the Enugu Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, to key into the Next Level Agenda of the federal government to enable them benefit from the numerous opportunities in the scheme.
Ogah gave the advice when he delivered the final address at the closing ceremony of the 31st Enugu International Trade Fair in Enugu.
According to him, the Next Level Agenda of the present administration hinges on industrialisation and diversification.
He said that there are many ways entrepreneurs could benefit from the Next Level Agenda of the present administration, adding that entrepreneurs could key into the numerous microcredit scheme of the federal government like “Traders Money, Farmers and Market Money”.
The minister disclosed that the federal government was using the microcredit scheme to reach millions of Nigerians with a view to making their businesses better.
He further pointed out that there was equally the Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN) whose financial scheme was designed to support the growth of entrepreneurs.
The minister pointed out that the Enugu International Trade Fair has become an important business exhibition in Africa and globally.
He also noted that the fair showcases the southern and Eastern Region as the hub for commercial activities and industrialisation.
